Applications are available from the Town Clerk’s Office or from the Chenango County Fire and Building Code Office

The applicant should complete the application, then contact Code Enforcement Officer Chris Freeman (315-653-7214).  If the application meets Town of Otselic requirements, he will sign the application.  The application is then filed with the Chenango County Building Code Office and the fee is paid to them.

 

For placement of a mobile home, in addition to the above building permit, there is a mobile home permit that is required by the Town.  The fee is $25, payable to the Town of Otselic, and this permit (application available from the Town Clerk) must be approved by the Town Board at a regular monthly meeting.

Contact sanitation Inspector Chris Freeman before starting the project.  The application fee of $100 is payable to the Town of Otselic.
