Town of Otselic Recreation Program: Tom Neal, Youth Sports Activities

Dog licensing—dogs must be licensed no later than 4 months of age. A current rabies vaccination certificate must be submitted.
Rabies Clinics— Free rabies clinics are offered throughout the county through the year. A $5 donation per animal is suggested. Pets must be pre-registered. The schedule will be posted on the Announcements page of this website as soon as they are determined for the year. Dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets must receive immunization against Rabies, a fatal disease, no later than four months of age. Building permits, septic permits and mobile home permits
School Taxes—(September property taxes) are not handled by the Town. Payments can be mailed to the Otselic Valley Central School District or dropped off to a lock box in the South Otselic branch lobby of NBT. Any questions should be directed to the Tax Collector at the school, 315 653-7218, extension 4043.
South Otselic Town Park and Pavilion Reservations: Call the Town Clerk to reserve a date. There is no charge.
NYS Voter Registration—application forms can be picked up at the Town Hall or printed from the Chenango County Board of Elections website
Otselic Town Court Hours: Town Court is held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 9:00 A.M.
Otselic Town Board monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. Meetings are open to the public unless the Board is in executive session. There is opportunity for public comment at the beginning and end of every meeting.
The 4CLS Bookmobile comes to the center of South Otselic on the third Tuesday of the month OR as noted on the Otselic Town Clerk's Facebook page, from 2:30-3:00 PM. To request materials: Please contact Noelle Holmes via phone (607-723-8236 ext. 322) or email (nholmes@4cls.org) at least a week in advance of your scheduled stop. To renew materials: Bookmobile Items* may be renewed by email or phone. To renew materials, please supply your name and stop location along with the title. You are also able to renew your books online at www.4cls.org.
