Final meeting of the Otselic Town Board for 2023 on December 28, 6:00 p.m., Town Hall, South Otselic, New York

Present:  Marjorie Davis, Supervisor; Sadie Allen, Charles Bishop, Jr., Darryl Fox and Jay Graham, Town Council; Louise Perry, Town Clerk

Also present:  Erin Graham, Town Clerk-elect; Allison Miller, Town Council-elect; Christopher Freeman, Code Enforcement Officer; William Wentworth; Michael & Terry Foor-Pessin

Bills read for approval:

General Fund                          Abstract #122-125                                  $935.78

Highway Fund            Abstract #099-102                              $3,604.50

SOWD Capital

Improvement Fund                 Abstract #002                                      $20,177.36

Motion by J. Graham and seconded by C. Bishop, Jr. to approve payment of these bills.  CARRIED

General Fund: Motion by S. Allen and seconded by C. Bishop, Jr. to carry over $46,450 & expected justice fees for 2024.  CARRIED

The CHIPS payment was received.  $80,000 was deposited in the equipment reserve fund and the rest in the highway fund.

Highway Fund: Motion by D. Fox and seconded by S. Allen to put $10,000 in equipment reserve and leave the rest to carry-over for 2024.  CARRIED

SOWD Fund: Motion by D. Fox and seconded by S. Allen to deposit $1,000 in the emergency fund and to carry-over $16,093 for 2024.  CARRIED

Motion by C. Bishop, Jr. and seconded by J. Graham to adjourn the meeting.  6:40 p.m.  CARRIED

The meeting was followed by a recognition for Charles Bishop, Jr. and Louise Perry as their terms are ending.  Charles (BJ) has served as a member of the Town Council for 12 years.  Louise has been the Town Clerk for 30 years and served on the Town Council for 10 years.
